Some 25 Bourne High School seniors have received acceptance letters from colleges and universities throughout the country. One senior has been accepted at Harvard and placed on a wait list.
Other seniors have been accepted at the University of Maine, UMass, Baylor in Waco, Texas, Curry College in Milton, Emerson in Boston and Suffolk University as well as George Mason in Virginia. Also: the University of Vermont and Bridgewater State College as well as Fairfield University in Connecticut.
One student has secured a four-year Reserve Officers Training Corps scholarship with no exact college yet designated. There is also interest in attending the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., as well as the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. One senior is also applying to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York.
