Ravenlock Castle: The castle of Ravenlock is the size of earth itself and the realm of Ravenlock is 4 times the size of earth... The castle also floats on a platform as well and has a rather large stairway up to it... Forests surround the castle and the Darkest of the forests many do not enter for fear of never returning...Many dangerous creatures live inside that castle...anything you could imagine...Dragons and things of that sort protect the castle and the ever watchful Raven flies about the realm watching and waiting for anything to happen that it may need to inform Queen Akara of.. A lake lies beneath the castle and has many caves and caverns hidden beneath it and the waterfall that runs into it...

Layout of the Castle: The East wing of the castle is where the servants chambers lie. The South wing is where the Royal families chambers are. The West wing is where the royal guards chambers lie. The North wing is where the knights and assassins courters are along with the mages and others of the armies of Ravenlock.. There are numbers of secret chambers and rooms and sometimes you just stumble into them. At the center of the castle is the Courtyard, Armory, Great Hall and Throne room. The dungeons lie deep beneath the castle in the mountain it was built on. Or what?s left of the mountain being that now all that is left is the top of it and it was enchanted to float.

Akara comes from a very interesting bloodline and so do the rest of her family...Her father Christoph was a Chaos god and his knights were loyal to him and still loyal to Akara when she needs them..Akara's mother Trisha was a Fear goddess before she died in battle with Christoph when Ravenlock was destroyed many years ago...but, one night Akara was performing a ritual and something went wrong and instead Trisha was ressurrected..but when Ravenlock was under attack, Trisha sent akara and he twin sisters off into the darkest part of the forest knowing no one would follow them...Of course she was wrong and Akara had her first taste of bloodshed that fateful day...She was but 6 years old when this happened. The three triplets Akara, Akeema, and Akasha each ventured forth on that day in their own direction...Akara waited in the forest til it was safe and all had left...The castle was in ruins and she walked across the battle field strewn with dead bodies to find her parents...Christoph and Trina were laid side by side each with their own fatal wounds...That day Akara swore to rebuild Ravenlock and make it stronger than it ever was...but Akara never would have been born if it werent for her mother being from the Kingdom of Kristalis... Later on Preia Christoph's mother found Akara and took her to Epicuurm where she trained her as a high priestess there...after that using the magicks that she had learned she rebuilt the castle...It wasn't long after that people began to frequent the Ravenlock lands and seek sanctuary within the castle walls..Out of some of these people Akara found skilled knights, mercenaries, assassins, royal guards, mages, sorcerers/esses, oracles, mystics and others of the like... It was then that she went looking for a king and that will be left for another day...

But being a Ravenlock woman does have it's prices....Ravenlock women have very ahrd pregnancies that derived from Trisha herself because of the Kristalis family...Trisha casted a spell upon herself so that the pregnancy would go quite fast otherwise the baby would end up dieing...complications usually happened and every so often they still do....But Ravenlock women are only pregnant for a week at the most before the baby is born...When the baby is born they age quite fast until they are between the ages of 10-16...then they age normally just as any humans would...sometimes a bit slower...Also twins and triplets are very frequent for the women to have...(hence akara akeema and akira)

Akara has gathered many pets throughout her travels. They're sneaky under handed and just down right mean to anyone that has not earned their master's respect.
Pengy and Pengu (Pengu's pic to come): Akara found these cute cuddly evil penguins while she was traveling to malbeth to speak with the Ice Dragons of her realm. Starving and abandoned Akara took them in, fed them and ever since they have remained loyal little spies.

Red and Merdyn: Tending to an injured Dragon i nthe dark forest in Solinari Akara stumbled upon the adorable kittehs. The tribesman informed Akara they had been wandering the forest for days. She brought them back to the castle and they now follow her wherever she goes. Even when she deliberately tries to leave them behind for their own safety. They stow away and she discovers them after it's too late for them to be sent back to Ravenlock.

Eric Zin Chung (Akara's Cerberus): Akara happened upon him while in hell years ago when she had to speak with a former family member that had been condemned there. She absolutely loved him and managed to smuggle him out through the gateway she had conjured. since then he has become? a guard dog and assassin for her.

Psu: Akara found him lurking around the dungeons and let him eat one of her prisoners. Since then he's been her eyes and ears around the Empire.

Suddenly, the sky began to get dark and the sun faded from the sky. As the sun faded the moon shone through the large stain glass windows of the throne room to castle Ravenlock. The large iron doors to the throne room slowly opened revealing a figure standing there. The figure stood there for a few moments before lowering the hood of its cloak to reveal a woman's face.

She stood there a moment longer before grinning and bearing a pair of pearly white fangs. Her skin was so pale that it looked as if the sun hadn't laid its warming rays upon it in such a long time. Waking in she looked around. Her hair was as black as night itself and hung down past her waist. She cast her gaze about the room with red orbs that lingered on each person for a moment before moving onto the next.

The cloak she wore was tattered and torn and swayed back and forth inthe wind. Underneath her cloak she wore a long black dress that had a corset for a top. Her dress swished with her movements. She reached up and slowly pulled the cloak off, still gazing about the room with a smirk creeping across her face. Now, close to the throne, she took the few steps in front of it and then turned to face the audience that awaited her.

"My people," she began. "It pains me to see what is happening to this country. It has also come to my attention that some of the women and children are going unfed because their husbands have died. I hope to help them in anyway I can, even if I must employ them at my court." She forced herself to smile a sickeningly sweet smile to the audience that was present in her throne room. She walked around with an air of arrogance about her as she circled the room speaking out to her subjects and seeing if their problems were worth helping. Most men she pretended to listen to, otherwise she ignored their requests completely. With each experience she had with men, it was almost always a sad one. She was tired of being hit and spit upon like she was some common bar wench. She kept these experiences in mind every time a man appeared before her with a problem. However, the women were a particular weakness. Especially the women who have been wronged by men in any way. Whispers crossed the room in her wake, mostly from the men that she had disregarded completely. Joyously women sought council with her hoping to just have a few kind words from her. Once near the doors, after the second time she had circle the room, she stopped to speak once again.

"People of Ravenlock, I will help any and all I can as soon as I am able. Until then I wish that you make due with what you have."
Smiling and bowing gracefully, she then turned and quickly made her way out of the throne room. Her sister ran up to her panting.
"Akara why must you be so unjust to the men?"
"Because men are vile disgusting creatures who's only purpose is to protect us when the time calls for it. Other than that men should be dealt with accordingly. There's no reason to treat them with kindness and be just to the likes of themwhen they treat their wives and family members like common bar wenches in a tavern."

Her sister shook her head and walked off. As Akara passed by the guards in the corridors they all bowed their heads, turning their gaze to the floor. Some were as bold to drop to a knee in front of her. Grinning she would tap a shoulder of the one's who did and they would flinch and fall straight to the floor.

Having had her fun she decided to return to her rooms to retire for the day. She was determined to help any woman that she could that had been wronged in any way by any man. Be it noble or a commoner, she had promised herself that she would help them. She began to draft plans of how she would help these women. The noble women would be easier to help than the commoners. Either way it did not matter to her, she was determined to help them and she swore long ago that she would. She opened her bedroom door and ordered one of hte passing servants to get her parchment and ink, as well as a quill to write with.
As soon as the servant had brought her the parchment, quill and ink, she began to make a list of the things she could do for the commoners. She could have some houses built for them and teach some of the younger ladies how to be midwives, and the older ladies could be responsible for making dresses for the noble women and for other garments as well. She thought it was a better deal then having the women starve because of their lazy husbands that have either left or refuse to work. At least this way the women will be able to provide for their children.

Akara was brought back to herself by a startling knock at the door. She growled and asked who it was. A male voice answered; she immediatley ordered them away and said she would give them and audience later. She then turned back to her parchment and then knocking continued.

"Leave me in piece. I have no the time to deal with your problems at this moment. See me at a later date and I will tend to you then." She hissed ni a cold tone. The knocking did not cease. Finally, outraged that someone would go against orders she stood up and angrily marched over to the door. Swinging the door open she was looking into the exact likeness of Lucian. The only man she had ever loved and she was looking directly into his face. Or was she? Lucian had been taken from her long ago and she knew this man couldn't be him. This man might possibly be a cousin of his, or a brother, but she had absolutely no idea who it was. She knew that this man and Lucian were connected in some way.

"Please, Akara I need a place to stay the night and Lucian said that if I was ever in trouble you would help. I'm his brother Linden." Speechless Akara stared at him for a moment. After a short time she returned to herself and smiled genuinely.

"I'll see what I can find for you. Go down to the kitchens and tell them I said to feed the brother of Lucian well." He nodded and headed off to the kitchens. Taking in deep breaths to keep herself calm Akara shut the door and leaned her back against it. Slowly she slid to the floor as tears began to grace her cheeks with their presence.

It couldn't be, could it? Akara thought to herself. It's like looking directly at Lucian. The likenesses between their faces and body are too much. Could he have returned to me, but thought it best to play a game with me to lighten the mood? She took in a ragged breath and drew herself to her feet. This was not the time to linger in the past. By now, even if that had been Lucian, he's married and has a family of his own. There's no time to even think about what could ahve been or what should have been done. She turned to the door once again. As she regained her composure she opened the door and stormed down the hallways.

Upon seeing her the servants, guards, and midwives, as well as the other noble ladies in her court, scurried out of the way not wanting to be caught by her. They all knew what would happen. She would find something wrong with anything they did just so she could take her mind off of whatever it was she was angry about. Akara continued on her way until she made it to the stables and then saddled her horse herself and mounted the white stallinon. She intended on a nice ride into the forest to clear her mind. As she passed the gate she ordered one of the guards to hand over their sword and they did as told. Now prepared for anything Akara set off into the forest coazing a run out of her horse. After a few moments she looked back and all that could be seen was the castle shrinking into the distance.

(This was an assignment in my Creative Writing class my junior year in High School. My teacher called in a character sketch. The basic reason for it was to give a nice introduction to the character so that others could get to know her demeanor.)

Ancient spells and magicks reside inside this book. Only the eyes of Akara and her family or those she trusts with her life may lay eyes on it. Almost every spell you could ever fathom is listed somewhere in the book.
A crystal wand sharpened to a blade and enchanted in many ways. This will turn anything that she stabs with it to stone and freeze them in time of course the effects are not permanent.
Lady Raven the first of the Ravenlock line was a demi-goddess. So she aged much slower than mmortals. this trait passed down through the line but waned with each generation. Upon the reign of Trisha, Akara's mother there had been an enchantment placed upon Trisha by her mother Umbrea. Umbrea knew she would die in child bed and never wanted Trisha to go through the pain of never seeing her children grow she placed a spell upon Trisha, a spell so powerful it was sealed with their blood. With the only strength she could muster she cast the spell with only the hope that it would work. Upon Trisha getting pregnant with Akara, Akira and Akeema she was only pregnant with them for 4 days. Once she gave birth to them the little girls grew so fast in only a matter of a week to the age of 16. The rate at which they age now is mch slower. Over a normal mortal's aging of 6 mnths the Ravenlock women would only age 3 months. Akara ages even slower than that now do to the fact that she is half dragon. She ages about 1 month in comparison to a mortal's 6 months of aging.
