It has confounded me for some time, since we had our start in 1998 with REMAX. Why it is that agents are scared to talk about interviewing multiple real estate agents before choosing one? What could be the reason for this? Could it be insecurity rearing it?s ugly head? What about not having the ?competitive spirit??
I know this hits some Santa Clarita real estate agents like a fart in Church, but it is a necessary step to anyone buying or selling a home. It is necessary for you to interview multiple agents. I?ll throw selfish at you now, ?I hope we are one of those you interview?? However, I get it if we are not, you may walk into that first office of that first Top Producing Real Estate agent and be swooned off of your feet ? it happens.
But for the other 99.9% of you, put us down as one of the Real Estate agents you want to interview and question. When it comes to buying or selling a home there have been studies done by the Big Syndication websites about how the buyers/sellers felt of their agent. Here is the break down:
70% said they would not recommend the realtor they choose to friends or family.
What a statement. There was another fact that reared it?s head in this Feedback forum for Real Estate. That was the fact most people work with 7 agents before buying a home.
So, 70% of those that bought a home did not like their agent enough to recommend them and most of those buyers work with 7 agents before buying a home.
It seems that someone is asleep at the Santa Clarita real estate wheel? I think it comes down to this, some agents are afraid of answering the phone or picking up the phone and calling back. Most agents are scared to say something is wrong. Most are terrified to give the ?bad and unpleasant? scenarios that apply when buying a home. Some agents will even close a real estate transaction if their buyer or seller are placing themselves at risk.
Do some Googleing, look at Bing ? run some real estate keywords in the search engines related to real estate. See who comes up in the SERP?s ? Search engine result pages. Weed out the real estate syndication websites and focus on the local real estate agents websites. Click through on a few that are on the first page and start making your calls. BTW ? if there is no phone number or physical ?local address? for the real estate agent on their website?s home page ? move onto the next.
